After studying full time for an MBA he joined the fast growing Mayflower Corporation, an automotive supply group listed on the London Stock Exchange. David’s career with Mayflower saw the group grow from £13m in revenues to nearly £700m. During this time David was Finance Director and CFO of many of the group businesses including the US division. He was a member of the acquisition team and the post acquisition integration team and was closely involved with the raising of debt and equity finance and Mayflower’s restructuring efforts before it entered bankruptcy in 2004. He has lived and worked in the USA, Germany and the UK.
David worked in various Interim Management roles before joining Glass & Associates as a Senior Associate in 2005. In 2008 he became a founding partner in Bryan, Mansell & Tilley a boutique pan-European turnaround, restructuring and performance improvement firm. Restructuring assignments include Collins & Aikman Europe as advisor to a leading OEM, Dura Automotive, Metal Castings and La Seda de Barcelona. He has also acted as advisor to leading Private Equity companies in assessment studies, cash flow and treasury management, business planning and in restructuring and refinancing of businesses in transition with external funders.
David has spoken at the British American Business Council conference, the Euromoney European Corporate Restructuring Summit, events for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has chaired and spoken at events for the Institute of Chartered accountants in England & Wales.
